so used to your colored works almost did not recognize this one as yours,is finely portrayed work,I like this.

Artist Reply: Great thanks! would be very grateful, Ruth, if you agree tell me the English name of this technique. In Russian it is called a "sauce", a small cylindrical rods compacted soot, which can easily crumble when drawing, and fine powder rubbed into the paper and diluted with water, even better, than watercolor pencils. (WIKI could not help me with this term)
