Ginger Jones at Podgorica 2009

Professor Ginger Jones invited my wife and I to Podgorica when she was doing a Fulbright Scholarship there. It was a wonderful experience. Here she is in front of an administrative building in Podgorica, Montenegro.

Bonjour David and Nicole! We hope you're both well and happy! It's freezing here in Rochechuart!! This is such a dynamic and powerful portrait. A sharp intelligence shines out from those intense blue eyes. Love the way she leans towards us as though she's just about to impart some important information. The cups containing their dark pools of coffee seem to be staring back at her. A fabulous composition! Love it!

Such an interesting painting... she has such character in her face, and building I am sure must be special to this work! Well done... I especially like the green reflections under her chin bouncing up from her shirt... :-)
