Great picture of a wonderful creature.
When I was a boy (and the dinosaurs roamed the earth) I had Tawney Frogmouth as a pet. I rescued it when fell from a nest in a gumtree and landed in an ants nest.I never caged it & it would fly around and land on my shoulder.

I watched these babies for about 6 weeks..then they vanished.
Last week I found one back..and took a photo...will add it to the portfolio..
