Flower Carpet in Tel -Aviv

The flower carpet is a unique mosaic of authentic symbols and historic elements thast decorated murals and tiles found in homes of the city's first residents. The graphic icons, painted in the early years of the 20th century, inspired a new colourful representation of old Tel- Aviv.
The carpet is composed of 500,000 flowers, mostly dahlias and begonias and covers 1.5 dunam. It has been created under the direction of experts.From Brussels as a tribute to the city of Tel- Aviv- Yafo's centennial.
