The Hedge

Forsynthia, the hedge between neighbors. Mostly a green hedge the new growth is always red.

This looks like a large bushy hedge that we once had... Photinia. The new growth is always red. the leaves are glossy.Here in Arkansas they are quite susceptible to fungus. Ours were dying so we cut them down.

Who's Cynthia? *W* pretty forsythia...doesn't look a bit like the forsythia leaves out here...could it be euonymous?

Artist Reply: thanks for the spell-check, dear! it is sold as Forsythia, here! this one is trimmed to be a hedge and they look a lok different if allowed to just grow.
