Colorado Clouds

Aug 07 2008 I saw and shot this in color. It was just another post card. Then, I thought of an Ansel Adams shot taken near Loveland, Colorado many years ago. It was of the setting moon over the Front Range with a field with cows in the foreground. I created this BW version from that inspiration.

The clouds are so dramatic - I love the feel - very moody and absolutely stunning!

What a great panorama! LOVE your choice of creating a black & white image. You've really gone back to the good old days of b&w photo filters for outstanding and dramatic effects. Those clouds are magnificent. Bravo: very nicely done.
