Beautiful and very interesting historical sketch. This type of helicopter was in use in the 1950s and 60s. Do you know what the story is behind this drawing? Your attention to detail is outstanding. Very well done.
Artist Reply: Hi Mike, thanks for the supportive comments, this drawing (which is 20"x14"), was from a photo i took at the RAF Valley air show, (Anglesey, N.Wales, UK), i had the photo enlarged to get all the details. The Wessex helicopter isn't used for air/sea rescue now, the Sea king is. You probably already know this. The drawing is one of my personal favourites, once again many thanks
