The picture does not do the painting justice. This was painted November, 2005. It is part of my Christmas card collection. I was visiting my sister in Ohio, she lives near George Rogers Clark State Park, near Springfield, OH. We had taken a walk over there and I seen the cardinal in a tree and had to paint it. The painting is framed and matted. It has a watermark on the lower right corner, so as to prevent anyone from printing it without my permission.
