Nancy Yoshida Team number 3.

Ms. Yoshida scratched sometime this afternoon...the first to do so due to a crash that she had to be rescued from. Thankfully no one was hurt in the crash! Unfortunately this is one of the risks of the Iditarod. Treacherous terrain and narrow traveling space contributed to the crash in a place barely wide enough to pass a single team and sled through. The trail where she crashed is literally no more than a large game trail traveled by a small herd of Bison.
