I took the original photo during 2003 Carnival and looved it so much I decided to paint it. Took me a month of work. This painting has a whole bunch of texture - looks like feathers, looks like beads but its not ... it's paint with textured Gesso. Wonderful fun to paint and one of my Hubbys favorites - Lots of sparkle.
