I started and finished him yesterday after sitting for quite a few hours. Couldn't resist drawing yet another gorilla and he's the first silverback I've done. For some reason I always want to draw the babies, they're so adorable though! I'm so glad I had a change, he's gorgeous and I really enjoyed this one, my favourite subject though:) I used black velour paper for him. Thanks for taking a look and any comments you leave are much appreciated, Joanne:)

Beautiful work Joanne....you always do such a fantstic job.
Artist Reply:   Thanks so much Renata, always appreciate your comments on my work. Connor says thank you very much for your lovely painting, he loved it and has put it in his project which he has spent five weeks doing and he handed it for marking last week. It looks more like an art project than one about bald eagles though, he has some of my work in there and a few of his own master pieces too, hehe:) Again, thank you, really kind of you.
