My Philadelphia Street House

The house in this drawing is the first one I bought by myself without anyone else's opinion or permission. My daughter and I put a lot of elbow grease and love into those walls and floors. The front porch was my library, studio, and writing room. Drawing it was a grand experience similar to writing a memoir of my PA days. The house is located 2 blocks from the Jimmy Stewart birthplace. oh Ms. Dell, what memories, this is the house I spent many hours with you, learning to paint, and bible study... each time I drive past it , it brings tears to my eyes, I miss you so much..

Splendid artwork.

Artist Reply: Thank you, Lynn. I have added a caption for the drawing. It was a splendid place to live also.

I'm sorry Dell, I forgot that I wasn't logged in.

Artist Reply: I assume yours is the "anonymous guest" comment. Thank you for your comment. Handling that much greenery is tricky in charcoal so thanks for recognizing that!

Beautiful! I love the way you have drawn the greenery!
