Looks cool. Ever think about painting/staining it and putting a wood top on it ?
To me it looks like it could pass for wood with the right applications.
Artist Reply: Thank you for liking my little stool. This one has a stainless steel top. I will get the rest of it powder coated when I have enough gathered. I have some furniture with wood tops but I mainly make these for interior use. the weather in Oregon beats up wood pretty badly and I like to think of my pieces as being indestructable! jerry
