Yarigatake

This is a panorama of Japan's Yarigatake in the Kita Alps. It was captured at dawn from Kita Hotakadake on Velvia film. The film was scanned but I didn't like the resulting image so I did my best to fix it up and make it look as close to the film as possible. I also cropped it and made a panorama out of it. Part of Project: Sanmyaku

Artist Reply: Hello John and thank you for the comment. I haven't been around much, only a few trips to the mountains in Japan and a trip home for Christmas. Money is tight with a wife and child to support so I am going to be spending more time trying to get my work "out there" and less time actually making new photographs. All the best to you this year.
