Alexandr Solzhenitsyn (2009)

Alexander Solzhenitsyn just died. He was a great man and a great writer, who braved the totalitarian state with his art. He said "Falsehood can hold out against much in this world, but not against art!"

Hello dear David! Yes!! Yes I totally agree with him. What a brilliant tribute to a great writer. Although he suffered for his art by being locked up in a mental institution, tbut hey couldn't silence him. (read First Circle and Cancer Ward). I like the symbol of the cross.Freedom to worship after years of supression. Sadly, Putin is now rehabilitating Stalin and giving him hero status!!!!

You have a very unique style... I really like the strength of color, good values. This almost reminds me of a mural!
