Almost a thousand years ago, men were possessed by their alchemistic achievements. Blinded by megalomania, they decided to create a new kind of creature, one that should serve the humans as they served God. And so they created the Purple Gargoyles. Soon, however, they discovered that their invention had its own thoughts and consciousness and refused to act as it was told. After a great rebellion, which cost hundreds of lifes on either side, the Gargoyles started hiding away in forests, caves or wherever they could find shelter. Since then, man have been hunting them down, one after another. In our times, the battle is the same, only the weapons have changed. There's almost no way left for the Purple Ones to hide. Most human beings aren't even aware of their existence, and their desperate struggle. The Gargoyle on the picture, that's Krilaya. She has seen each and every one of her kind fall to the crusade of man. She is the last one. All alone. She yearns for death... which will soon reach her... and this will be the end of yet another sad chapter in the book of mankind.
