It was fun sharing a favorite place with my son, the trails along Hickory Creek running south of Old Alton Bridge. I enjoyed searching different trails with his assistance crossing over masses of roots holding the creekbank and he got to try out fishing there.

Artist Reply:   I always seem to be on the wrong side of the sun when shooting at this creek, hehe! not sure...maybe catfish, crappie, bass (if they washed downstream from an area that was stocked) he regretted having no bait since the water was too soupy for lures; most of his fishing is catch/release
