Perched Predator

Another big part of living in Mission, is sharing it with the wildlife. I am at a loss as to the true identification of this bird. I thought it was some sort of hawk, however, after looking through many bird books, I believe it is either a Kestral of sorts or a Falcon, I am leaning toward the Falcon because of the facial markings, the closest match I found was with the Aplomado Falcon, although they are not native to this area, I could have a rare visitor on my hands. (if anyone knows what type of bird this is, I would love for you to let me know, Thanks) Taken in Mission, B.C.
