River and Rhodoendrons

acrylics on paper ( 14 x 14 ins) The river Erriff flows from the hills of south Co. Mayo and over the waterfalls at Aasleagh, before joining the Killary fjord. It is widely rated as one of the best places in ireland for salmon fishing. Not being one for fishing myself, I prefer to admire the lovely rhodoendrons that grow along its banks.
