Liz posed for me and I did some pencil sketches in preparation for a painting, then in Photoshop played around with ideas and came up with this. Yes I did take small bits and pieces from about 7 old masterworks to make up the background, the man in the water came from a old masters Line drawing and I painted him to look real. I had Paul Cézanne’s A Modern Olympia in mind while doing it, only instead of a male watching it would be the female watching. If someone came out of the door of the old house you would see that they are giants in a miniature landscape.
