Armando's Challenge WIP Peixeiras #2

I wanted to show the girls as rough, dirty, old and young, I know very little of these women or of the area they come from, most of what I referenced, was in language's I do not understand, but even still I felt how hard life must be for them and upon them physically, so off I went with my version of Armando's wonderful Idea and Original work.

WOW I can't believe the whole day is gone, I did get more pens and continued working on it to this point.

I'm sorry I haven't gotten back to anyone, it's just... well as you can see above, I was kinda busy, I think I am a bit of a details freak, LOL.

OK going to work on color version now.

I already know my father's painting. Your version is better for sure. (Just renouncing to the legacy... LOL:-)

Pam, I just wanted to say that you brought such intensity and depth of emotion to this piece, with this gritty style. Well done, well done Pam!

Artist Reply: I'm sorry I am so behind, but as you know from the thread, I had good reasons :) I do so appreciate your comment/compliment Minnie, this is one of the coolest challenges I have ever participated in, I'm glad we could all be a part of it. Thanks Sugar!!
