The Innocuous Emu

Do not be fooled by the sweet innocent look of the emu, its beak is capable of disemboweling a human with claws that can cut through a tire like it is tissue paper. The Emu has become the North American answer to red meat, these birds are bred in captivity/farms and are widely used for their feathers, oil, skin and meat. Taken at the GVZ in Aldergrove, B.C. *personally I have never eaten one and likely never will*
