Dedicated to the little piglets I once raised....."oh, they are so cute, I think I will get two". They really were adorable for about four days but...... They soon grew to be The Porkers from #@**!!!. They learned to escape even the most secure of pens -- thus disproving the myth that pigs don't fly-- it is a much more common occurance than one would think so one should be careful when using that phrase. They learned that they humans had the most-convienent-for-them habit of actually being asleep at 3:00 in the morning allowing them the opportunity to travel miles down the road without that irritating redhead running after them calling them names. They learned that their squeal could inspire terror in hearts of all living creatures--that chickens will run--dogs will cower--cats will claw their ways up the most narrow of fenceposts --and, the most delightful of all, that cows will run from them for hours. Even more delightful for them would be the fact that the aforementioned redhead would also run after them when they were herding cows. Did you know that pigs can actually laugh?
