From A New Angle

I always enjoy viewing things from an unexpected perspective. I often lie under trees to look up to enjoy the majestry of their presence or shoot up to perceive the various glowing colors of a sunset. Nature always is a beautiful spectacle that nothing can compete with. However, when photographing man made icons like tall building in Los Angeles, I continue to enjoy looking upwards and shooting from different angles that reflects my point of view without a verbal narrative. I have often said it is not difficult to take photographs of a gorgeous garden landscaped by an exceptionally talented architect. It is more of a challenge to photograph an ordinary image and make it extraordinary using the mind’s eye and creative imagination of the photographer. Often in our hurried lives, we don’t look up and notice the beautiful sky, sunsets or unique architectural design. I hope to provide a menu of different perspectives both visual and verbal to enhance my photography.
