Because, as we all know, welsh corgis are the dogs of which fairy tales are made, the eighth in a series of classic storybook corgis that I have been painting. This is the last 4 x 4 inch of this series that I will be offering. Hansel and Gretel wandered all night long but couldn't find their way home. As planned Hansel had left a trail of kibble behind to lead them home but it mysteriously disappeared. When questioned Gretel could offer no answers around her bulging cheeks and beef breath as she hastily brushed crumbs from her chin. The picture doesn't do this one justice. I had trouble capturing the true colors--sorry! Original 4 x 4 gallery-wrapped mini painting is in a private collection.
