Up close and Personal

As in the other shots I have taken of the Red Breasted Nuthatch. He has become quite familar with me being around, his mate is nesting now and comes outside the house once in awhile to shake her wings. While this male relentlessly chases away all the other birds from the yard. His call is a very annoying high pitched sound akin to that of an alarm and close to being just as loud. I am sure he is quite unhappy with me at the moment, I just put out 2 new feeders, which of course is bringing in new birds. Taken in my backyard, Mission, B.C.

Pamela you are the bird watching/photog master! LOL JUST WONDERFUL!!!

Artist Reply: LOL Jodi ya silly girl! It sure has been fun having this little family develop over the past few weeks. As the spring migration begins all my winter birds are disappearing and new ones have been arriving daily here. The finches are so colorful, but I haven't gotten any good shots yet.
