Nicole, Queen of Pysanki 2008

Nicole and I were asked to submit 12 inch by 12 inch self portraits to the River Oaks Art Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. She chose a photograph, which we transfered to canvas and stretched on the appropriate stretcher bars. She said "I know it shows every pore, every shiny spot, and every bump, but that's me and what you see is what you get." How can I add anything more?
