dunes at the westcoast

At the danish westcoast, dunes reign and they build up and travel inward, now adays a huge work is done to bind the traveling sand with differend harsh grasses, or the area would change to dessertlike land, here I am standing on one of the tallest dunes looking down along the coast. I was blowing hard and had to sit in the car while drawing, the sand found its way into teeth and ears nose and eyes, and even more hidden places

Such an expressive drawing, I can see the sea, the waves, rocky areas, the tangled grasses! And you had a trial by sand.... wise choice, sit in the car!

Artist Reply: Thanks for You taking the time looking into the drawing:) no rocks though, not in this country, it is just sand
