Totem Field - Ketchican

the totem poles weren't the main focus of the day. Beautiful fireweed and other wild plants glowed in the sunlight. The totem poles were nestled in the landscape.

Really great ilustration! Great technique of coloring!

You know I didn't notice the totem poles at first, the flowers are so beautifully done and frame the scene but the totems become the focal point once you see them. I like the vertical movement of the entire composition. It is a lovely painting, I like it.

Artist Reply: Thank you. We put so much into our paintings, it's nice when someone takes the time to really look at them!
