'Thieves Of the Light' c2004 (unframed)

A friend of mine had a nephew who was molested by a priest in his youth. At 22,her nephew committed suicide. The picture of his first communion came out in the paper so I used it here.

Great art!! I also saw your work at the Chicano Visions exhibit in SF a couple of years ago. The experience prompted me to paint as well. I also always wondered who did the art in "Blood In Blood Out" - good to know it was you.

beautifully painted picture and wonderful illustration of this subject. I really like the realistic and yet very expressive style. And I really like these psychological themes.
