Portrait of my wife's African Grey Parrot. It is said that this parrot can attain the intelligence of a five year old child. From our experience with Chloe, this seems to be quite true. She does not just mimic speech; she actually associates words with objects. Examples are Orange, Grape, Apple; also when she is sleepy she always says "Nighty Night" and we immediately know to put her in her cage and turn off the lights.
