Silent Serenity

Sayer's Lake, just above Stave Lake, It was snowing like crazy for 2 days now. We took the 4x4 up the mountain.. A blanket of absolute quiet landed over the entire lake, sound is dampened by the snow, you can hear sounds you wouldn't normally hear, tiny underbrush chirps, bits of snow very silently falling in clumps from the branches, wolves cry in the distance. Night is soon to fall, time to head home again. Taken just outside of Mission BC.

What a grand capture of the snow it is wonderful when you can make a trip in the snow such as this and then find such a grand view to capture nice shot
