My favorite mountainside place is the Great Smokey Mtns. On one trip I was mesmerized by these rock formations. It seemed impossible that water flowing over and through them could have forged such wonderful, sculptural forms. Yet, here they are, living proof of the power of Nature. Henry Moore, famous American sculptor could not improve on these natural forms. All this and the sound of mighty rushing waters, too. Is this heaven? Copyright 2007 Dell Belew
