Tennessee Roots

This lovely root system just waited for me to show up and make it a monument in art. The Little Pigeon River runs through Gatlinburgh and through Pigeon Forge, TN. Right now the rushing water I love so much is little more than a trickle due to drought conditions. My happiest moments are sitting beside the stream with my oils and canvas.
