When I was a boy, I knew a man named Donald Redblanket; can't help but wonder if it's him.

Artist Reply: Donald Redblanket helped me understand things in a good way. He was a pipe carrier from Rosebud Reservation in South Dakota ..and it is indeed the same man how uncanny..

Artist Reply: It was him, I met donald near the end of his life and we became fast friends. He taught us many sweatlodge songs, we spent many nights praying for peace and for harmony of people. I made this in honor of my friend and it hangs outside my door to greet those who enter..
