I like the mixed genre feel of this piece. The black and white areas are reminiscent of old lithographs, whereas the pink background---so feminine---makes an excellent, and contemporary contrast. It's interesting that the male, in a very relaxed position, is doing the impossible: smoking a pipe under water. And there is such movement in the textures of the dress itself. The circular spirals are a nice touch too. ;)
