Aging Gracefully (animation)

This is Jerry Stith the founder of an American folk art program called BallPoint Pen Art! I lived around twenty eight years in California or about half of my life. I became a pretty good artist, a man and child of God in that state plus learned many ways of the world. Doing art from life, walking in the Redwoods, playing in an ocean, fishing, meeting people, reading and becoming a man of faith made life all worth living during that time or even now. Being and elder or old certainly beats quote, the good old days, as a youth. I think being old is much, much better than being young if you were to ask me.***** This animated artwork is of an American Senator and portrays a person simply aging. The impression of aging, going through lifes changes and learning to take charge of things around us certainly can or will effect our lives. I can feel young at heart yet still ache when doing something throughout a day. The red portrait is much more flowing, bold or even refreshing to me than the b&w image. In the red work pertaining to detail or just nailing things down is not the primary goal as in the black and white picture. Different styles, colors or moods certainly effects an artwork, life, aging or ones outlook towards creation. Realism and impressionism certainly are my favorite schools of art and can be seen as such throughout this gallery.***** I feel far more in charge of my life as an elder than when young because more is at hand to work with. Experence is worth it's weight in gold yet often casted aside by those without it. People around here have given me over 6,100 comments on my artworks, animations, illustrations or ballpoint pen drawings over the past two years. I use to get alot more than that while drawing in public for over thirty years as a portrait or fine artist. However the comments or statements are pretty much the same as it might seem. People do however bring up or say some rather interesting or strange things along the way. I'm very greatful, thankful and humbled by how wonderful or outsatanding your words are towards me, amen!***** People wonder how I get so many comments on my artworks? Well maybe it has something to do with me commenting on thousands or tens of thousands of others artworks or pictures! Maybe introducing what a ballpoint pen can do as an art instrument or medium has something to do with it as well? Lots of time, effort and hard work certainly is part of the mix as I would think. Edifying or helping others certainly is the best way to go and in the long run counts the most! Cheers and blessings to all you is my prayer of the day, amen. Your friend, Jerry Stith..
