The Pink House (2007)

This is the fourth of a series of "Pink Houses." This one is in Weatherford, Virginia, I believe. It looks very much like the architecture in some urban homes in Natchez, Mississippi, with the slave (or servant) quarters on the side and back. This painting will also be sold, and some of the money will go to the "Think Pink" program of the American Cancer Society's breast cancer research fund.

I like the favoring of pink I see in several works. A hard color to master but not for you. Works look great and I hope they take you where you want. Jerry Hanks
