La Maison Rose (2007)

La Maison Rose is located in the south of France. It is the second in a series of Pink House paintings, done for the American Cancer Society's "Think Pink" campaign. Part of the money from sales goes to breast cancer research. Usually, pink is not my preferred color for painting, but this was something of a fun challenge.

Hello David, you did a wonderful job painting with light pastel colors. The painting is beautifully illustrated and for a great cause, excellent. We paint images from ideas that are closely related to our past, present and everyday happenings. I must say this is the first time I've seen Clementine Hunter's artwork, thanks for sharing.

Hello David! How's things? I like this picture very much, especially the lively, impressionistic brush strokes depicting the reflections in the water and the bright sun lighting up the house. It's a very optimistic painting and thoroughly charming!
