This painting is about the journey into the subconscious mind. I have made it look like Autumn when the leaves are falling from the trees symbolising a time of release and a time to look inward. There is an owl in the top left tree trunk, this symbolises the wisdom gained from choosing to go within the self as well as the setting being in nature which also suggests connecting with the Earth and nature to find a truth that is grounded and real.
