NEWSPAPER ARTICLE

I used to do many paintings for churches and temples in the past. Some of the paintings were for restorations and some were new. The paintings sometimes included angels. So some newspapers gave me the nickname "Angel Man". It was a nice gesture and I did appreciate it. But I never sprouted any wings and I never was really able to fly on my own except when I fell asleep and dreamed. visionary imagist "Joey"

Totally awesome. What a great article and I loved your little confession of not having wings, rofl, so many people have called me an Angel, including children, that now when someone calls me that I tell them that they shouldn't say such a thing because the Angels will get mad and start accusing me of being an imposter, hahaha

Artist Reply: Tahnja: I agree with you. The lady that wrote the article surprised me with that headline. My mother used to say that "my halo was held up by my horns". Thanks for sharing with me.
