Night Ride

I still remember when I was very young and looked up into the night sky and wondered at all there was to see. This vast expanse of the night sky with little dots of diamonds and an ever changing disappearing monthly lunar sphere. It seemed more empty than full. It made me feel so small. And it made me ask many questions that seemed to bother most of the adults that I asked. I don't believe they had the answers that I sought and it made them frustrated and a little angry too. I think that they were upset because they did not know the solutions either. My questions never really stopped. I just stopped asking them. I still remember those questions and I haven't really given up in finding the answers. I'm just inquisitive, I guess. It's in my nature. So, I try and paint some of the solutions I've found to some of those perplexing problems. Why is there so much emptiness in space? Well, I think the answers is that in emptiness there so much potential and potentiality is where everything springs forth from. So the night sky becomes a blank canvas for God to fill. Every stroke of His brush is the overflow of his infinite heart. And His medium is Being. And what ever He touches comes alive. And as I write these words somewhere, out there in the cosmos, God is still painting His masterpiece. The masterpiece called the Universe. visionary imagist "Joey"
