Time for a brief pause to admire the beauty of the mountains beyond, and give the dogs a short rest.

this is big tease in good way John...inspirational for me...to get of my fanny and start painting...fantastic work...
Artist Reply:   Thanks for your comment on Pause on Tlingit Pass, Bianca. Hmmm... seems like I've heard that I need to "start painting" story before:) In the meantime, you're getting some "great" photos and enjoying it, too. That's what's important! Glad to hear you're doing well. With the GDB board gone, I haven't been commenting much, and took a break from it all for a while.
Artist Reply:   Thanks for your remarks on Pause on Tlingit Pass, Peter.

Great landscape image, good story telling quality with the slade. Your choice of colors still makes it look like a cold area but with warmth and a bit softer and more pleasing. A good artwork indeed.
Artist Reply:   Thank you so much, Eyal, for taking the time to point out what you liked about Pause on Tlingit Pass:)
