Midwest Meadow

This was taken at the Albany Mounds in Albany, IL. The Hopewell Indian tribe would carry the bodies of fallen family members and bury them in tombs encased in mounds of dirt. It is a BEAUTIFUL area. This is a meadow full of prairie grass that is actually pretty large for Illinois. It's just an all-around beautiful area to walk the dog or just to go and reflect.
