Spiral Light

Light is one of the most important ingredients in our art. The absence or quantity of light will make our art, interesting and valuable. In this shot, the eye is drawn down the spiral staircase to the blackness below. Taken in natural light without flash at Skipton Castle. Over 900 years old, Skipton Castle is one of the most complete and best preserved medieval castles in England. The light there is wonderful . . . .
