The war is over - and he'll never be able to ride the winds again. And there is no mercy for an injured winged one from his people. His dead corpse was later found by peasants. He had seemingly cut his own throat.

Wonderful job! I particularly like the hair and the metal armor. And those wings must have taken you quite some time - each feather so meticulously detailed! Gorgeous.
