It was a Dark and Stormy Night

"It was a dark and stormy night....." Three wee corgi pups listen from a 'safe' distance as papa reads from the Treasury of Spooky Tales. The room is cast in shadows and even papa appears a bit on edge as he readies himself to turn the page in the bone-chilling thriller.....I have to admit, that even now I would be the corgi depicted under the end table. I never was one for campfire ghost stories so for the faint of heart like myself, we'll just say that the corgi's book isn't really that spooky...oh, and that each story has a very happy ending :). A whimsical, seasonal folk art piece for the Welsh Pembroke Corgi enthusiast designed to inspire a smile. Original painted on 5 x 7 gallery-wrapped mini canvas in the private collection of J. Maxwell.
