Spina de Mul

Spina de Mul is a shaman/wizard/shapeshifter well known in the Dolomites. His name means "donkey skeleton" since he can morph in a half decomposed donkey corpse. - creepy, but it wasn't me to make it up ;) - Spina de Mul is a character in the Fanes saga. According to the legend he was defeated by the prince Ey de Net (Night's Eye) and his treasure, the gem Rajeta, was given as a gift to Fanes princess Dolasilla. To get back his treasure Spina de mul collected an army and went to war against the Fanes. With magic and treason he managed to kill the princess and defeat the Fanes. The last remnants of this people found refuge in a hidden cave in Sass dla Porta (=Door Mountain)were they are still waiting for a Fanes princess that will bring them back the Rajeta. Colored pencils. 30*40 cm.
