Combination of human body and glass

A human body balances a piece of textured glass on his back, while the glass is just about to drop and smash into fragments. This unusual combination of the twisted figure and the fragile glass kept still for a moment creates a surrealistic impression of a captured motion. With the help of computer manipulations, the original black and white image was provided with a deep red background to make it more profound and expressive. The harshness of the skin and its sharply emphasized details reinforce the visual sensation of realism.
