ELEPHANT HAVING A DRINK

THIS IS A PURE PENCIL DRAWING WITH NO DIGITAL TOUCH-UP. THE ELEPHANT REFERENCE WAS FROM A PICTURE I TOOK A LONG TIME AGO AT THE PORTLAND ZOO. THE SCENERY IS MOSTLY FROM MY IMAGINATION./2006

Deliciously Integrated Natural elements, Profound Animal Concepts and the overall Draftsmanship is Sensational!

I love the trunk in the water...you said that you 'started over'...hmmm...what do you mean? The other elephant graphite drawing looks quite different so that can't be it.....(pondering)...anyway, I'm glad you posted this one---the shadows on the rocks are great---and I love the dark-darks in the shadows of them on the bottom right. The elephant behind those rocks looks almost abstract--which is a really cool effect. Keep up the great work! -Kerra
